About me...
I grew up in in Minnesota, and after six years living in the Texas heat, I am excited to be back home in beautiful Minnesota (and ready to brave the winters again!) I live with my husband and our dog, Ruby, who keeps us both busy and active!
I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. After graduation, I served two years with AmeriCorps proving literacy interventions to student in Saint Paul Public Schools. During my time in Texas, I taught first and third grade and served as an Instructional Coach at College Hills Elementary. I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the staff at East Lake Elementary!
I love helping students become critical thinkers and independent learners, and look forward each year to helping new students become the best that they can be! This year my goal is that each student become excited about school and aspire to become a lifelong learner! This is going to be a great year in fourth grade at East Lake!
